Data Deletion

Users can request deletion of account, workspace, integration, media, and workflow data subject to operational, legal, security, and platform-compliance retention requirements.

optx.media uses YouTube API Services for authorized creator workflows and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

How to request deletion

Send a deletion request to support@optx.media from the email associated with your optx.media account. Include the workspace name, connected channel, and the data categories you want reviewed. We target a response or completion update within 7 calendar days where practical and may request verification before deleting account, workspace, or YouTube integration data.

Data that can be deleted

Account data, workspace data, source media, rendered clips, music tracks, brand assets, metadata templates, connected-channel records, local token records, unpublished publishing records, and local files can be reviewed for deletion when supported by the current product flow and retention requirements.

Channel disconnect

Disconnecting a channel attempts server-side Google token revocation when a token exists, removes local refresh-token access, disables publishing, and prevents future publishing jobs for that channel. It does not automatically delete historical upload or audit records.

YouTube-hosted content

Deleting optx.media account, workspace, media, clip, upload history, or token data does not delete videos, comments, channel data, or other content hosted by YouTube or Google. Manage or delete YouTube-hosted videos, comments, and channel data directly in YouTube Studio, YouTube, or the relevant Google account controls.

Workspace archive and delete

Workspace archive hides a workspace from normal lists and blocks future publishing while preserving history. Permanent workspace delete requires owner confirmation, removes workspace-owned operational records and local workspace-owned files where safe, and may retain redacted upload history summaries and audit logs for security, abuse-prevention, legal, or YouTube API compliance review.

Records retained for compliance

Audit logs, upload history, security events, legal records, abuse-prevention records, and platform-compliance records may be retained where needed to investigate security issues, comply with legal obligations, cooperate with lawful or platform compliance requests, or protect the service from abuse.

Google access revocation

Disconnecting in optx.media removes or revokes local YouTube access for the connected channel. Users can also revoke Google account access directly at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Applicable local Google/YouTube API data is refreshed, corrected, revoked, or deleted within 30 calendar days where required and technically available.
